[b]RP Name & Rank: NS3 PFC Dublin.
Age (Must be 16+): I am 16.
Steam name, and link to profile: ★ Chawmander, https://steamcommunity.com/id/Chawmander/
Discord ID: ★ Chawmander#1849
What is your timezone?: Eastern Standard Time (EST).
How did you find NorthStar?: I was simply searching for Garry’s Mod Military RP servers to play since with a friend, I wanted a break from some of the more serious RPs, and I saw that this was a PvE Military RP which I’d never heard of before so I thought I’d give it a try and I think it was a really good decision to try it out because I found this amazing community.
How much playtime do you have on our server(s)?: I used to be a Zeus a while back, to prove this you can see pictures from my first operation in the NS Media channel in the discord, all the way at the top, from November, 11th, 2019. So my playtime was much higher but it seems to have reset since then so it’s now just a couple of minutes sadly.
Do you have a mic?: Yes, I do.
Are you currently an active Staff member in any other community? If so what community and what rank?: I manage an SCP-RP for a community called Insight Networks but in all honesty, being a manager doesn’t require me actively playing so much and I’m getting rather sick of working for them so it’s no longer my priority which is why I’m coming back and attempting to become a Zeus once again.
Give a example of what you consider a bad event: In my opinion, I would consider a bad event to be an event that begins with a simple, overused idea, for example: “Generic SRC Officer #152 has entered an area in generic Slavic country #13, we are to go in there, capture him, and bring him back alive.” In all honesty as overused and simple as that idea is it can still be done well, but what makes it bad is when it’s plain and boring and nothing spices it up, said event could then become even worse as players would lose interest, leading to minging and lack of communication and general encouragement to continue, the event would then become a shitfest and that, in my opinion, is a bad event.
Why would you like to become a Zeus?: I would like to become a Zeus, once again, because back when I first joined in November and I became a Zeus I really enjoyed crafting well thought out events for the server and putting them into action. It was always so cool to create something for the player base to enjoy and seeing them go through and play something I made and actually have fun if I did it right was so satisfying to me, even to this day I look back on the pictures from my operations and just think about how much I miss making operations. It was even better when I’d receive feedback and use that to make something even better the next time. I suppose to sum it all up I genuinely enjoyed making something myself for others to enjoy and seeing them enjoy it was really what’s making me go for it again. A lot of good memories.
Give a example of an event you would host: Here’s a link to a report for one of my operations, code-named “Operation: Orbit”. I would write something fresh up but it’s currently 00:42 hours at the time of writing this and I have a Field Training Exercise at 08:00 hours so this is the best I can do, I hope it’s good enough.
